Summary

A French Technology Transfer Office is looking for industrial partners interested in cooperation under a licence agreement to produce and commercialise an innovative flip top cap invented by a pharmacist from a University Hospital. This flip top cap enables oral administration of liquid medicines, contained in multidose vials, without any risk of contamination and without preservatives.
The device has been developed at pre-series stage and benefits from a worldwide IP protection.

Description

This French Technology Transfer Office has been contributing to the innovations described below:
Preservatives are problematic for new-born medicines. Before, the only solution to avoid preservatives was single-use vials. From now on, the innovative flip top cap, developed at the pre-series stage, is indicated when the treatment needs to be adjusted to the weight as, for instance, in paediatrics, geriatrics or in the veterinary field and for hospitals or home use.

The main characteristics are:
* Non removable from vial,
* Compatible with glass or rigid plastic vials
* Screw-neck diameter: 27mm,
* EN FIT connector to oral syringe,
* High efficiency air intake filter
* One way valve.
* Flip top Cap
* Only 4 parts assembled by ultra sounds
* Easy to produce and mount to the vials
