The company is looking for industry/academic partners working in ecology/sustainability, data analysis and more, that has technologies, prototypes, services or other ideas such as physical products, a digital tool, or a completely different solution, for further development via technical cooperation agreement.

Description

A Dutch company is an independent family business and is specialized in the field of housing, utility construction and infrastructure. With € 1.5 billion in turnover and more than 2,800 employees, the company is in the top ten of companies in the Dutch construction industry.

It is well known that the biodiversity worldwide, including in the Netherlands, has been declining for some time, especially in construction areas. As one of the largest contractors in the Netherlands, the company builds many infrastructural works. Their activities have a great impact on the environment and its biodiversity.
The company already undertakes great efforts to minimize this impact, but it is still too little. It is now time for the next step: from the smallest possible negative impact to a substantial and positive impact. All this with the aim of leaving the environment even better than they found it. As a sustainable contractor, they would like to find a solution for this challenge.

It is for this reason that the company is looking for skilled partners in order to help them solving this important and global problem. A technical cooperation agreement is foreseen, however when the solution fits the purpose other agreement types can be discussed.
The major question is: "Can you help them with a solution to measure, preserve, restore and increase biodiversity during and after the execution of their infrastructure/construction projects?"
