Representatives of the Aeronautics, Space and Dual-Use Technologies Sector Group met in Malmo on November 16-17, 2021. The meeting was combined with the TechConnect Europe technology exhibition. The EEN-Ukraine consortium was represented by Maxim Rallev, a member of the sector group.
During the event, participants presented reports on thematic events for the past year, presented the situation on this topic in their regions, discussed the news of their regions and agreed on cooperation of their clients. Also, the report for 2021 and the plan for 2022 were approved.
On the first day, the meeting took place at the Skane Invest Center in Malmo, where reports were presented. Malmo is the administrative center of the Skรฅne lรคn region, one of the most innovative and dynamic regions in Europe, with its own market of 3.5 million consumers. The main links of the regional industry are scientific, information and communication technologies and the food industry.
The keynote speaker and organizer of the meeting was Emilien Watelet, curator of the Aeronautics, Space and Dual-Use Technologies sector.
On the second day, we visited the MAX IV synchrotron and the European Spallation Source, a multidisciplinary research center in Europe, where the experimental base and the world’s most powerful neutron source are located in Sweden, and a computing and computer center for data processing in Copenhagen, Denmark.
