From the Raw Materials Transport System to Intermodal Transportation: Changes and Modernization of Railway Transport Infrastructure to Increase Export to the EU
On Thursday, July 4, an important event was held, dedicated to the modernization of Ukraine's railway transport infrastructure to increase exports to the EU, particularly agricultural products.
- The event was opened by Sylvia Burkowska, a representative of the European Commission, who emphasized the importance of cooperation between Ukraine and the European Union in the field of transport logistics.
- Representatives from Ukrzaliznytsia spoke at the event, highlighting how the company supports the export of Ukrainian goods to Europe. Special attention was given to the recently opened Ukrzaliznytsia representative office in Poland, which aims to foster international cooperation.
- The event was moderated by Olena Fesenko, General Manager of the EEN-Ukraine consortium, and Olga Shubina, Coordinator of the EEN-Ukraine consortium.
- The event focused on the export of agricultural products from Ukraine by rail.
There was an active discussion with representatives from various companies, who presented their services and products.
