Future of Building 2021 | Virtual Brokerage Event

During 23th of March, Enterprise Europe Network Austria together with Advantage Austria from the EEN host organization WKร– organized an exclusive B2B partner search platform for Austrian and international companies as well as for decision makers in the construction sector. EEN-Ukraine Consortium with the support of Institute of Physics of NASU, the Export Promotion Department of Ukraine and the Taras Shevchenko National University Kyiv were a co-organizer the virtual matchmaking event. The key topics were addressed for participants on their individual B2B meetings: new construction methods and robotics, new building materials / components and assemblies, energyefficiency (zero, plus, passive houses), sustainable and green architecture, timber / woodย construction, natural and zero emission materials, ย roads & tunneling, traffic infrastructure, smart home and home automation and so on.

The B2B event was attended by more than 1,600 participants from 80 countries, including 35 Ukrainian companies working in the field of construction, as well as the supply of materials and ideas for construction. The Ukrainian participants had the opportunity to attend 34 b2b meetings to find the potential cooperation partners. In general, during the B2B meetings, participants had the opportunity to present their products and solutions, share professional experience, learn about European trends and market prospects, as well as establish international business and technological cooperation.

After the Future of Building Brokerage Event, participants were also able to take part in the Vienna Congress on Sustainable Construction BauZ! which took place online from March 24 to 25, 2021. Vienna ist seen as an example of global best practice for smart city solutions and the symbiosis of historical heritage and modern [green] architecture und high tech solutions. Participants of conference had the opportunity to expand their knowledge of the latest trends in the construction sector.
