Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs Network Meeting 2025!
On 13-14 November 2025, the annual Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs (EYE) Network Conference took place in Brussels, bringing together programme coordinators, Intermediary Organisations (IOs), and experts from across Europe and associated countries.
For Ukraine, this meeting was especially valuable — as the vision for future programme cycles and new opportunities for Ukrainian and European entrepreneurs is being shaped right now.
We discussed the results of the EYE programme implementation during 2009–2025.
Special attention was given to analysing the outcomes of Cycle 14 of EYE, which focused on supporting Ukrainian SMEs.
Our team proposed several ideas for updating the EYE programme in upcoming cycles, including:
- engaging a larger number of motivated HOSTs by setting clear KPIs and introducing rewards for achieving them;
- introducing short-term exchanges (1, 2, 3 or 4 weeks) for newly established businesses through short business visits to potential partners;
- increasing synergy between the EYE programme and the EEN and EDIH networks;
- implementing deeper coaching support for New Entrepreneurs (NE) with clearly defined KPIs from HOST organisations;
- allowing hybrid exchanges that combine online and offline placements.
Why is this important for Ukraine?
Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs is a real opportunity to:
- test a business idea in a safe environment,
- receive mentorship from experienced EU entrepreneurs,
- integrate into EU markets and build partnerships,
- scale your own business — even during wartime.
It is a tool that opens doors, connects people, and creates real opportunities for growth. And for Ukraine, it is a pathway to economic recovery and sustainable development.
