Yesterday, the online information session “From URC 2026 Commitments to Implementation: Transport Connectivity, Infrastructure and Investment Opportunities in Ukraine” took place
The meeting focused on turning the international commitments made at the Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC 2026) into concrete infrastructure and investment projects.
The event brought together representatives of business, international partners, logistics operators and the public sector to discuss the development of transport connectivity, infrastructure recovery and Ukraine’s integration into the European transport network.
Key messages from the speakers:
- Serhii Derkach, Deputy Minister for Recovery, Infrastructure and Transport of Ukraine, outlined the Government’s priorities regarding the development of border infrastructure, public-private partnerships and upcoming procurement opportunities.
- Mona Björklund, Director for Policy Coordination, DG MOVE, European Commission, highlighted Ukraine’s integration into the TEN-T network, the further development of the Solidarity Lanes, and EU support instruments.
- Eglė Uleckienė, Head of the Ukraine Recovery and Peace Investments Department at the Central Project Management Agency, Lithuania, presented the work of the Ukraine Transport Support Fund, its project selection procedures, and opportunities for business and donors to engage.
Participants also explored practical tools and opportunities available through the STaTMP digital platform.
