The Advisory Board of the Enterprise Europe Network
The Advisory Board of the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN Ukraine) for Ukraine has officially started its work today
Already 12,000 Ukrainian companies have received support from the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN). The EEN Advisory Board will focus on expanding strategic cooperation with the EU to increase support for Ukrainian small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
On September 22, 2025, the first meeting of the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) Advisory Board for Ukraine took place, organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine as the coordinating organization of the EEN Ukraine consortium.
The event marked an important milestone in the development of the partnership between Ukraine and the European Union, as the Advisory Board is intended to serve as a platform for meaningful dialogue, experience sharing, and coordination of efforts to support the recovery of the Ukrainian economy.
The Advisory Board is not a formal consultative body. Its key role is to create a space for discussion, exchange of ideas, opportunities, and key success stories that inspire entrepreneurs and open new avenues for growth. It is here that government institutions, financial and investment organizations, and international partners can join forces to enhance the competitiveness of Ukrainian SMEs.
The Advisory Board includes representatives from government agencies, business associations, investment and export agencies, digital platforms, and international partners. Participants discussed strategic areas of cooperation, identified practical communication formats, and agreed on further steps to develop EEN in Ukraine.
Welcoming remarks were delivered by Hennadiy Chyzhykov, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine / Ukrainian CCI and head of the coordinating organization of the EEN Ukraine consortium:
"Today, EEN is a key instrument for integrating Ukrainian companies into the European business space. The Advisory Board is a platform for exchanging ideas, opportunities, and key success stories that inspire and open new prospects for SME development."
Greetings were also delivered by partners from the European Commission and EISMEA:
- Athanasopoulou, Director for Simplification and Networks at the European Commission (DG GROW), emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation between Ukrainian and European companies and outlined the EU’s key priorities in supporting SMEs.
