The Belgian SME is a manufacturer and distributor of high-quality baby and children's products. The company has now developed a new line of toys. For these designs they are looking for manufacturers that can produce these designs in EVA foam. The models are of different dimensions and shapes. Starting with a small amount of finished products used for a market entry, the company will enhance the volumes (up to 200 pieces per item). In the mid to long term, the company wants to develop a product line with continuously new products in EVA foam.Expertise sought
The company is looking for a partner who can make certain shapes in EVA foam. These shapes are of different sizes (round shapes, contour lines, half of a ball) and must be available in different colours.Momentarily there are three different products in three different shapes (these may slightly differ sometimes):
Number 1: 600 mm x 200 mm x 230 mm
Number 2: 381 mm x 381 x 193 mm
Number 3: 735 mm x 300 mm x 200 mm
Other designs will follow.
The following technical specifications are required:
- material: EVA and Polyethylene (EP)
- density: 115 ± 5 Shore C
- foam sheet tickness: 40 ± 2mm
As the toys will be used to rock it, walk and stand on it...thickness and density is extremely important. The foam might be laminated (preferably using water based glue or other not harmful techniques).
