The Italian-based sawmill and woodworking company is specialized in the production of technical wood components, with applications in the construction and interior design industries (e.g. doors, windows, and profile covers).
The company is currently working on the development of new wood-based materials of different geometries. In order to complete the development of the new materials, the company is looking for a partner who can implement the compression/pressing of wood-based mixture materials at high temperatures, under research cooperation agreement.
The sought partner is a manufacturer of in-line hot presses for wood materials up to 1.2 m wide, with pressing temperatures >150°C. In more detail, rod-shaped or partly flat wood elements are going to be pressed. Veneer presses are not considered, as their pressing temperature would be too low for pressing the wood-based materials together.
Geometries and shapes of the final product are to be defined with the potential partner.
