There is one of the largest investment forums of Europe “InvestForum-2018” took place in Magdeburg, Germany on September 13th, 2018. Two winners of the start-up competition, which was held by the consortium EEN-Ukraine within the international forum “Innovation-2018”, took part at the forum. The Ausweis startup, which has developed a device for the safe management of any electrical locks or mechanisms, and the Warm Wall startup, which has developed the newest building insulation system, received a grant from EEN-Ukraine to present their developments at the “InvestForum-2018”. Ukrainian companies presented their developments to international investors and gained important experience in communicating with potential customers.
Coordinator of the EEN-Ukraine consortium Olena Fesenko was able to talk with the director of the largest and most powerful investment fund – Grunderfonds. Mr. Michal told that first of all investors are interested in startups that are not up to 3 years in the market, as well as startups who have not yet received key funding.
Ukrainian start-up companies have successfully used the opportunity to announce their developments in Europe, which has further influenced the entry into international markets.
