Ukrainian Railway Infrastructure: It plays a key role in the country’s economy, especially in times of conflict. As Ukraine aims to increase its exports to the EU, we recognize the necessity for significant changes and modernization of the railway system. These efforts include improving the raw materials transport system, implementing intermodal solutions, optimizing rail connections, and increasing the rolling stock capacity for grain transport. We aim to offer a viable alternative to sea transport, which often faces congestion.
Key Objectives of the Event:
- Provide insights into major trends and changes in Ukraine’s railway transport infrastructure, focusing on increasing rail transport volumes.
- Describe the ongoing process of railway track modernization across Ukraine.
- Share key recommendations for implementing intermodal transport solutions in the railway system.
- Present key data related to railway transportation.
Event Format: The organizers will start by providing instructions for conducting B2B (business-to-business) meetings. Following this, five companies from the EU and Ukraine will have the opportunity to present themselves during the event.
