Start-up BW Summit 2024

July 8-11, 2024

Welcome to the Ukrainian startups that have been selected to participate in the “Start-up BW Summit 2024”!

EEN-Ukraine, in collaboration with EEN Germany, has organized a visit for Ukrainian startups. This year, the summit events will take place from July 8 to 11 in Stuttgart and other cities in the state of Baden-Wรผrttemberg.

This year, there were many interesting startups. Thus, 11 participants have been selected from Ukraine:

  • Green Future – a company whose technology allows for the production of cheaper plant products by saving electricity through the efficient interaction of the lighting system, fertilizer supply, and the fertilizers they have developed.
  • “Fairytale” cafe-studio for kids – a business idea aimed at teaching children about adult life and the culture of other countries. Children can learn to work as waiters or bartenders, cook simple foods from various countries, and serve food to parents and other clients. The project includes educational elements that help develop skills useful for further educational and professional development.
  • H2ydroGen – the team from NTU “Dnipro Polytechnic” proposes using high-energy hydrogen fuel to power infrastructure objects and vehicles. The project idea is to shift from storing hydrogen to producing it in necessary quantities at the consumption site. This will increase the safety of energy/thermal devices usage, and the technology is also environmentally friendly.
  • Flexreality – a startup operating in the fields of augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR), offering an immersive experience that combines the physical and digital worlds. AR enhances the real environment by overlaying digital information, while VR creates a fully simulated environment. The company is the first in Ukraine to develop and launch the educational AR Book app in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
  • “KVADRAT U” low-frequency therapy device – the company presents a low-frequency therapy medical device that allows for PTSD rehabilitation both in the field and in medical facilities.
  • CheckEye – an AI-based vision screening solution for providing preventive medical care to everyone. The startup aims to prevent blindness through early detection.
  • Innovative Ideas freshflow IREC device – the company offers highly efficient, eco-friendly, high-capacity air coolers that save energy resources by up to 10 times, work in extreme heat conditions, provide fresh, comfortable air, and do not contain harmful refrigerants.
  • Ukrtechno Multi-function medical bed – the startup offers a multifunctional, lightweight mobile bed for immobilized or low-mobility patients. The small size of this bed makes it suitable for use in small spaces: at home or in the field (e.g., in emergency/military situations).
  • Cardiomo – an AI-based solution for remote patient monitoring and diagnosis, providing intelligent, continuous, cost-effective real-time monitoring outside hospitals. The solution consists of a wearable patch and a cloud-based analytics platform, enabling early detection of arrhythmias with minimal involvement from medical staff.
  • Combined machine for soil preparation for sowing row crops in small areas – a startup from Vinnytsia National Agrarian University offers a universal unit consisting of a smooth roller, a ribbed roller, and an oscillating roller. In one pass, the rollers break up clods and crust, destroy capillaries on the soil surface, and level the field surface, significantly reducing soil preparation time. The unit has a simple design and small size, making it mobile, easy to maintain, and suitable for use even on small plots.
  • MeGoElectric UA – a small company from the southern Ukrainian city of Mykolaiv. Since 2020, it has been developing and manufacturing various types of electric vehicles, from motorcycles to trucks and recreational vehicles. LSEV-type electric vehicles have a maximum speed of 60 km/h. The price of the basic model of a new car starts from 8,000 euros, and the cost of transporting cargo is less than 1 euro per 100 km. Customers receive a product specially adapted to their needs, using exactly the range they need during the day, and then charge the trucks overnight.

Congratulations to the Ukrainian startups and wishing them successful presentations! See you in Stuttgart
