UKRAINIAN ENTREPRENEURS IN THE GLOBAL BUSINESS: Olga Shubina on the European Enterprise Network In the world of economic challenges and opportunities, Olga Shubina, the coordinator of Enterprise Europe Network Ukraine and the head of the Export Support Coordination Center of the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, emphasizes the importance of harnessing key advantages and success strategies in participating in the European Enterprise Network. The international project European Enterprise Network is a crucial aspect for the successful development of Ukrainian small and medium-sized businesses, establishing business connections, and restoring supply chains disrupted during the war. “During the project’s existence, our team has interacted with over 25,000 clients. We successfully conduct business missions and B2B negotiations within various forums, exhibitions, and conferences, including company missions and study visits.” Last year, we managed to showcase collections of young designers for free at the Turin Fashion Design Week. This year, a Ukrainian designers’ showroom was organized at Milan Fashion Week 2024, during which a Ukrainian company signed a contract to supply products to Italy. Among the main concerns of Ukrainian enterprises are certification issues, logistical aspects related to the procurement of raw materials or goods, and the compliance of products with EU market requirements. These challenges are logical at this stage, as all companies aspiring to become part of the Single European Market are facing a transitional process.
