The 7th international FMCG forum “Live International Marketplace-2019” was held on April 11th, 2019 in Kyiv. The organizers of the event were the EEN-Ukraine Consortium in cooperation with MY TRADE GROUP LLC and the Lithuanian Innovation Center. During the forum was held a brokerage event where 26 companies from 7 different countries had the opportunity to hold a b2b meeting.
The “LIM” forum held in various European countries has become one of the best professional place for ideas, products and innovations in the FMCG.
The event was attended by representatives of retailers (including e-commerce and HoReCa), manufacturing, distribution and innovation, aimed at business development and international cooperation.
The event was attended by representatives of the European Commission. Ms. Rebecca de Sancho-Majoral and Louisa Priest made a welcoming speech and talked about the possibilities of the COSME program. Their main message was the appeal of Ukrainian SMEs to enter the international level and to use European programs that contribute to this,in particular the EEN and Horizon2020. Then, business representatives made short presentations of their businesses, after which they had the opportunity to participate in pre-planned b2b meetings.
As a result of the event, the participants got the opportunity to:
- Identify potential international partners for future cooperation;
- Get an individual program of B2B meetings according to their interests;
- Open the leaders of the FMCG industry and collaborate through presentations and discussions;
- Exchange ideas about the business development of FMCG;
- Check information on latest innovations in the FMCG industry;
- Introduce / choose new products for FMCG and B2B services.
