This event was held in Forum format + b2b and c2b meetings.

The event was attended by the coordinator of the EEN-Ukraine Consortium Olena Fesenko. She participated in a business mission from Ukraine and shared the impressions of the event: “Biotechnology and medicine have been an important area in the economy of Styria for many years. This science-intensive industry is well funded and supported by the state. In addition to funding for fundamental research, funding is also provided to stimulate collaboration between business and universities / institutes / research centers in order to develop innovative products and technologies that are targeted at meeting the needs of society. Therefore, Styria is the one region in Austria that the European Union called the standard for active and healthy aging. In particular, the science of life (medicine, pharmacology and biotechnology) has been a key force in the Styria economy for many years, and the human.technology.styria cluster (HTS) has been making considerable efforts to ensure synergy between universities, research institutes and enterprises with which partnership a variety of companies will only win.”

The event was attended by many spin-offs and start-ups companies representing biomedical developments. New nano-sized probes for vessels were presented, which, like an umbrella, are opened in places of clusters and absorb them on themselves. Among the most interesting developments can be distinguished various chemical drugs for stopping blood, a system for monitoring the dose of insulin for patients with diabetes and 3D primers for DNA and other biological molecules.
