19-21 October 2021 Enterprise Europe Network Ukraine Consortium participated in the co-organisation of the Bursa Textile Show 2021 brokerage event. The city of Bursa is considered a world centre for producing various types of fabrics, especially natural seam, which received the international certificate of production. Today over a hundred leading Turkish producers, who were previously positively commented, are presenting their unique and high quality collections. Enterprise Europe Network Ukraine in cooperation with the Turkish EEN helped to gather a delegation of more than 25 representatives of various Ukrainian companies to participate in the Bursa Textile Show, The show is an ideal platform for networking and cooperation between Ukrainian and Turkish textile manufacturers of outstanding quality and design.
During the 3-day event, the show was visited by nearly 111 Turkish companies, who presented their autumn-winter 2022/23 fabric collections at the event. This year, nearly 300 foreign purchasing companies from 30 countries came to Bursa, mainly from neighboring countries (Ukraine, Belarus, Russia, Moldova), Europe and Turkish republics.
Olena Fesenko, coordinator of the Enterprise Europe Network Ukraine, met with the organizers of the event and discussed plans for the future.
This year the focus was on textile innovations, during the Bursa Textile Show you could get acquainted with a number of innovative companies, including Prosoft VR, which presented Style 3D technology, where through virtual reality you can try on clothes in online shops without having to leave your home.
After the exhibition, Enterprise Europe Network Ukraine partners travelled to Istanbul to meet textile manufacturers in the region.
