We return from the EEN Annual Conference with great news – our consortium has been honored with a Special Recognition Award – Resilience.
This award is a recognition of our continuous efforts, never pausing for a moment and consistently working since the early days of the war.
In March 2022, we initiated, together with our Lithuanian partners, the matchmaking platform – Supply Chain Resilience. Many other EEN partners joined this platform, and currently, approximately 900 SMEs from various parts of the world are registered on it. While our Lithuanian partners focused on the development of the Supply Chain Resilience platform, we became more actively involved in the second platform – Solidarity Lanes. Within this framework, we organize monthly events to promote the export of agricultural products from Ukraine and explore new logistic routes.
The Special Recognition Award – Resilience is not just an acknowledgment for our consortium; it is, above all, recognition for all Ukrainian SMEs that endured and not only continued working but also continued to develop their companies and enter new markets, especially the European market – Single Market.
It is important that this year’s EEN Annual Conference emphasized support for Ukraine. A special session was organized during the conference, in which the coordinator of the EEN-Ukraine consortium, Olga Shubina, participated, delivering a presentation on the needs of Ukrainian SMEs. This year, our consortium EEN-Ukraine was honored with a special acknowledgment, and during the official closing of the conference, the General Manager of the EEN-Ukraine consortium, Olena Fesenko, made a motivational speech to encourage further support for Ukraine and collaboration with Ukrainian SMEs and innovative organizations.
We are grateful to our Lithuanian partners from the Lithuania Innovation Center and other EEN partners for fruitful cooperation. We appreciate the European Commission and EISMEA for their constant support and programs/tools initiated to support Ukraine over the past two years.
We sincerely hope for continued support in the coming years. Ukraine can only prevail in this war together with international partners.
