First mission of women entrepreneurs and innovators to Warsaw

With the support of our partners, the EEN Ukraine consortium is changing the perception of Ukrainian innovative business! – Coordinator of the EEN Ukraine Consortium, Olga Shubina. The Enterprise Europe Network Ukraine and the EIT Red Kalyna initiative organized the first mission of women entrepreneurs and innovators to Warsaw! “Create innovation, motivate others, and show the world that Ukrainian women are a driving force!” Under this slogan, the first joint mission of Ukrainian innovative women entrepreneurs took place in Warsaw. From June 11 to June 13, 2024, the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as the coordinator of the EEN Ukraine consortium, in partnership with EIT Health and EIT Red Kalyna, a project aimed at developing Ukrainian women’s innovative entrepreneurship with the support of Lukashewich University and the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development (PARP), organized a business mission of Ukrainian women innovators to the WomenTechsummit 2024. The program aimed to increase the recognition of Ukrainian innovations, develop women-led innovative businesses, and support women’s leadership in business. Technology, innovation, and networking with Polish and international partners expand the opportunities for women entrepreneurs. We thank the partners and main organizers of the event for the EIT Red Kalyna initiative, which aims to increase the recognition of Ukrainian women’s innovations in Europe and engage mission participants in the Women in Tech Summit in Warsaw. Ukrainian innovators participated in a series of B2B sessions, workshops, and learned about the work and activities of Polish business associations, including state ones. Among the mission participants were representatives from: MemoryBank Bukovinian State Medical University Choice31 Cooperative Fedoriv Group SolarOptic, KSE LightMirror ClinCaseQuest The educational visit was organized by EIT Health InnoStars and the EIT Strategic Regional Innovation Cluster in collaboration with EEN Ukraine to develop Ukrainian women’s entrepreneurship and innovation. The program is part of the EIT Red Kalyna initiative, launched in 2023 to increase the recognition of innovations created by Ukrainian women in Europe and to build bridges of opportunities for talents from Ukraine in cooperation with the EU.
