Yesterday, the online event “Grain processing chain: from Wheat to Bread” took place, organized by the EEN-Ukraine consortium within the framework of the EU-Ukraine Solidarity Lanes platform. Participants included exporters, importers, farmer associations, and experts from Ukraine and the EU. Attendees learned about the reasons and consequences of restricting the import of Ukrainian agricultural products to Eastern European countries, as well as possible solutions to the problem.
Event participants discussed the situation in the grain and oilseed market, the impact of import restrictions on the agricultural sector of Ukraine and the EU, alternative logistic routes for exporting Ukrainian products, and opportunities for cooperation and support between Ukrainian and European partners. They also had the opportunity to present their commercial proposals, prices, and directions on the “EU-Ukraine Solidarity Lanes Business Matchmaking Platform.” The event was valuable for promoting Ukrainian organizations internationally, finding business partners and new markets, business development, and exchanging experiences with professionals.
The event was moderated by Olena Fesenko, the General Manager of the EEN-Ukraine consortium. During the event, the following speakers made presentations:
