Information Day in Cherkasy “How to Find a Business Partner in the European Union”

The EEN-Ukraine Consortium together with the Delegation of the European Union in Ukraine on July 24 held an information day ” How to find a business partner in the European Union? “. The event was attended by over 30 representatives of innovative enterprises, non-governmental organizations and various start-ups of the region.

The main experts of the event were:

• • Eugene Cherney, co-founder and CEO of Fabrikant;
• • Vladislav Sushko, Director of TM HYBRO, graduate of the GIZ program;
• • Chaika Mykola, Expert of the European Enterprise Network;
• • Vita Vdovichenko, specialist of the Department of Regional Development of Cherkasy Regional State Administration;
• • Maxim Polishkevich, Managing Partner of the Law Firm “Result”;

The main topics of the event were:

1. The benefits of a deep and comprehensive free trade area for Ukrainian entrepreneurs.
2. Presentation of COSME (Competiveness of Small and Medium Enterprises) – European Small and Medium Enterprise Support Program.
3. Presentation of the opportunities of the Enterprise Europe Network as an instrument for finding partners abroad. Practical EEN training for seeking partners and investors in Europe.
4. The main law aspects of starting your own business in the European Union or cooperation with European partners.
5. Opportunities of internships on enterprises in Germany.
6. Successful cases of Cherkasy region Enterprises in collaboration with European partners.

The Information Day participants received detailed information on European business support tools and a review of small and medium-sized businesses: Horizon 2020, COSME, EEN. The participants of the seminar were informed about all the advantages and potential of the EEN programs, and a large number of business contacts who are interested in further cooperation with the consortium were gained.
