On March 21, the EEN webinar “Business with Ukraine – Status quo and prospects” was held, which was organized by the Stuttgart Chamber of Commerce and Industry together with the German-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce, the Ukrainian Automotive Industry and Mobility Cluster, the Ukrainian Cluster Alliance and Enterprise Europe Network.
- The meeting was opened by Barbara Effenberger and Thomas Bittner from IHK Region Stuttgart.
- Serhiy Lisnichenko – the representative of the German-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry emphasized that Ukraine continues to work despite everything and shows excellent results of its work, and said that Ukraine can offer a lot to Europe, because we have educated and hardworking people.
- André Fritsche, head of the operational group “Ukraine|Russia”, shared important information about the available support mechanisms for Ukraine.
- Johannes Jung, head of the strategy, law and foreign trade department of WM BW, spoke about the signing of project lines of financial support to Ukraine and emphasized the importance of infrastructure development and the creation of new production centers in Ukraine.
- Felix Brücher, head of the marketing department of Allianz Trade, noted that his company pays great attention to investments in agribusiness, infrastructure and the recovery program of Ukraine.
- Angela Mans, head of the department of foreign trade, international relations and customs affairs of the German Automobile Industry Association, reminded that she and her company in particular support Ukraine, and also presented the activities of the German Automobile Industry Association.
- Olha Trofymova, manager of the Ukrainian cluster of car manufacturing and mobility, spoke about the potential and possibilities of partnership with Ukrainian businesses.
- Olga Shubina-Kurylenko, head of the CCI Export Support Coordination Center of Ukraine, once again expressed her gratitude for Germany’s assistance to Ukraine, and reminded of the difficulties faced by business since the beginning of the war.
- Olena Fesenko, general manager of the EEN Ukraine consortium, spoke about the activities of EEN in Ukraine and the opportunities that the Network provides to Ukrainian Business.
- Nora Strohmer, Managing Director, Eugen Fahrion GmbH & Co. KG, Kaisersbach, spoke about the challenges her company faced in Ukraine
