A high-tech start-up from northern Italy established in 2016 has developed a patented technology that guarantees the flexibility of LED luminaires to reproduce the ideal spectrum to optimise production in fish farms.One of the main aspects of fish farms is the evaluation of alterations induced by sunlight and artificial light in both open sea and tank farms. It is strategic to dose the light and its spectra at different ages and times of day (when they eat, when they sleep, etc.) by compensating for the amount of energy and the type of spectrum reduced by changing climatic conditions, for example when it is cloudy or at times of day when the sun is setting or rising. The proposed system includes a software able to automatically adapt the spectrum to different types of farming and ages (larvae, fry...) without having to replace the lamps. The system is also able to optimise energy consumption and efficiency using a quantum environmental sensor and to detect the radiant energy supplied to animals to obtain the data that make up the ideal photobiological profile. The system has the possibility of interacting with other technologies already present in the herd, in order to have a wider management and control of the supply of specific "ingredients" (temperature, Oxygen, Ph ...) and of the different "controls" for the activation of the machines inside the herd. Organizations working in the fishing industry interested in adapting this new advanced LED lighting system are sought in order to establish a commercial agreement with technical assistance
