Today, an online event titled “GRAIN LOGISTICS: RAIL INFRASTRUCTURE, ALTERNATIVE ROUTES, STORAGE” took place, organized by the EEN-Ukraine consortium within the EU-Ukraine Solidarity Lanes platform. Participants included exporters, importers, farmer associations, and experts from Ukraine and the EU. They learned about the reasons and consequences of restrictions on the import of Ukrainian agricultural products to European countries and explored potential solutions.
During the event, discussions covered topics such as corn and its impact on the agricultural sectors of Ukraine and the EU, alternative logistics routes for exporting Ukrainian products, and opportunities for collaboration and support between Ukrainian and European partners. Participants also had the chance to present their commercial offers, prices, and directions on the “EU-Ukraine Solidarity Lanes Business Matchmaking Platform.” The event was beneficial for promoting Ukrainian organizations on the international stage, finding business partners, accessing new markets, business development, and exchanging expertise with professionals.
The event was moderated by the General Manager of the EEN-Ukraine consortium, Olena Fesenko. The following individuals spoke at the event:
